ARFID in Adults vs ARFID in Children
In this Dr. Marianne-Land SOLO episode, I explore Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) and how it presents differently in adults compared to children. ARFID can often go unnoticed, particularly in adults, so I'm here to highlight the distinct challenges both age groups encounter. I'll look at the developmental, psychological, and social factors that influence ARFID in childhood and adulthood, examine how symptoms evolve over time, and provide insights into supporting individuals at various life stages.
Stay tuned for my SOLO episodes on Fridays, as well as the weekly interviews on Tuesdays. :)
Here is a SOLO episode when I share my overall eating disorder recovery journey (listen via Apple or Spotify).
Plus a SOLO episode when I talk about how I treat eating disorders (listen via Apple or Spotify).
